I've seen this commercial at least three times, and each time it's stirred the kind of animosity towards the advertiser that historically has been reserved for the "Where's Herb?" campaign. I would explain the commercial, but will save myself the agony and just replay it here, thereby rewarding Domino's Pizza for aggravating me so:

The reason this commercial irks me so much is because don't understand why Domino's is delivering pizza to a sadistic, homicidal maniac. And who is chasing the pizza delivery person? Is it the Joker's henchmen? If so, why would the Joker try to steal his own pizza? Just irritating. Domino's could have avoided the whole associating-with-true-evil thing by delivering a big pepperoni deep dish to the bat cave or something.

Now that I've gotten bitten by the passive income bug (it's a very small, $5.30 bug but his bite is still quite potent) I've started looking around for different opportunities. I've reopened my CafePress account and am putting together all sorts of ideas. So far, this is the best I can come up with:

I thought it was humorous. You might have to think about it for a second. Not that lemmings aren't worth saving or anything.

Then I thought I would create a Blog Hero store, because I've always wanted a Blog Hero sweatshirt. So I went crazy and stuck Blog Hero on a number of things. You can find the store here. I'm not sure about the yellow and green shirts. In the interest of full disclosure I have not marked up anything above the price that CafePress sets - so if you feel seized by some irresistable force to suddenly do all of your Christmas shopping...well, CafePress thanks you. Blog Hero thanks you more from a viral marketing perspective, although none of these items have the URL on them. Which is a great segue - if you have any suggestions for alterations drop me a note or leave a comment.

The new Bravia ad is out here. I had discussed this in a previous post, and it was certainly worth the wait.

From the site comes this bit"

"The cleaning took 5 days and 60 people. Thankfully, the use of a special water-based paint made it easy to scrape-up once the water had evaporated."

My question is - why clean it up? It looked pretty cool. Maybe it was some sort of environmental thing. Or, if you allow one person (or company) to paint outdoors pretty soon everyone will be doing that and the world would become brightly colored, and you wouldn't want that.
