I enjoy design - whether it's a web site, brochure, identity kit, CD cover, photograph, peanut butter and jelly sandwich... I'm the guy taking too long to check out at Wal-Mart because I'm stuck in front of a magazine complaining about the overuse of Avant Garde as a typeface. (Just hit us when we do that.) I enjoy deconstructing the design of just about everything. Why is that candy bar wrapper like that? (And it has how many carbs? Sigh.) Could that sign be more effective? Am I ever going to get out of the Molasses Swamp?

My passion, though, is generating ideas. I have a theory that most things aren't as good as they could be - they're only good enough. We make something good enough and then move on to the next challenge. Which means that there are opportunities for improvement everywhere. Opportunities that differentiate businesses from one another and make a tangible difference in people's lives.
